How it all began

Visual Voice began in 2009 with a simple idea: to make complicated content more engaging, accessible, and easy to use.

Since then, we have partnered with nearly 100 mission-driven organizations—near and far—on more than 1,000 projects, helping them tell their stories in visually compelling and meaningful ways.

Every project is guided by the same goal that started it all: to bring clarity, creativity, and impact to complex information.

Meet the Designer

Elissa Schloesser

Elissa blends her background in design and public policy to bring clarity and creativity to every project. With two decades of experience, she’s a collaborative thought partner who helps organizations turn complex ideas into visuals that connect and inspire.

Outside the studio, you’ll find her running, exploring, reading, or crocheting in Minneapolis, where she lives with her husband and two sons.
